Updated: U3A of Highbridge Coming of Age Party
We were hoping to celebrate our 20th Birthday Party last year but for obvious reasons it wasn’t possible. However undaunted, we are now ‘coming of age’ and will be holding our special celebration on Wednesday 17th November 2021. This is the nearest Wednesday to the anniversary of our first meeting in 2000.
Lunch of either a ploughman’s or soup, both served with either a roll or cheese scone, will be served at 12.00 and the hall is booked until 1.30pm.
Please pre-book your lunch and your preference for either a celebratory glass of prosecco or a soft drink.
Tickets will be £3 and they can be purchased at coffee mornings from Denise.

Mosaics Group Restarting September 7th 2021
The Mosaics Group meetings will resume on Tuesday September 7th 2021 @ 2pm at Smurl Lane.

Card Making Group Restarting August 2nd 2021
The Card Making sessions held at Smurl Lane in West Huntspill will be restarting again on Monday August 2nd 2021 at 2pm (until 4pm).

Resumption of U3A of Highbridge Coffee Mornings
At last it looks like we will be able to meet up again.
If nothing changes in the next couple of weeks, we propose to hold the first coffee morning on the 21st July. As far as we know there shouldn’t been any restrictions on providing refreshments and sitting where we like. If we hear any different, we will let you know. Look forward to seeing you!

U3A of Highbridge Magazine Postponement
Due to the ongoing situation with COVID-19 coronavirus, the U3A of Highbridge magazine will not be produced for the foreseeable future. We hope to have the magazine up and running again as soon as the current government restrictions are lifted.
Membership Renewals
In normal times, our annual membership renewals would now be due for 2020. However, because we are not living in anything like ‘normal’ times, we are now delaying the renewal date until we get back to our usual Wednesday coffee mornings.
There is therefore, no need to post your application or worry about your membership being cancelled.
